Please call the school to report your child’s absence so that we know your child is safe in your care. If your child is absent without a call, we will call all your numbers until we can ascertain your child’s whereabouts.
Early Pick Up
Appointments often necessitate an early pick up for your child. We have several parents picking up early on any given day. It is very helpful if you can let your child and his/her teacher know as well as calling into the office in advance so that we can plan ahead. Students are often out of their classroom in resource, gym, outside for DPA, working with little buddies etc. and it can take time to locate them. We appreciate your patience and assistance.
Snow closures and power outages are an annual occurrence in Langley School District. So where do you go to get information about the status of schools during periods of inclement weather? An alert on this site will display at the top of the webpage if school closures are in effect. The same alert will also display on the District site. If you don’t have connectivity, but your phone is working, call a relative or friend in an area that has not been affected by the storm and ask them to check the district web site for you. Current information is also posted on Langley School District’s Information Hotline at 604-532-1453. (Do not hang up if your call is not connected right away). Local radio stations are also informed of school status in Langley. Tune in to CKWX 1130 AM, CKNW 980 AM, Country Radio 107.1 FM or CBC 690 AM for updates.
